Boo Boo

My dog was ran over this morning. My whole family is almost hysterical over it. We've had this dog for along time. She was a mini Dobermin mixed with cocker spaniel. She was my dog and i loved her very much. I dont know if any other dog could replace Boo Boo. We let her outside to go to the bathroom and she must of chased something because she knew better than not to go across the road. I heard the car hit her (which didnt stopor anything just kept goin) i ran outside and she was still alive but her neck was broken. She died in my arms. Im realy gonna miss that dog

R.I.P---Boo Boo :)

If I hit a dog that just ran out in front of me, I wouldn't stop. I wouldn't want to deal with hysterical pet lovers who think I murdered their pet.

Sucks when you have to watch something you love die though. :(

Can't say I blame the owners of the car for not stopping...assuming you're in the states, where somebody so much as getting mud on their shoes can get considered a legal liability...they probably thought two things...
1 - Securing the pet, and training it not to do shit like that is your responsibility as an owner (I agree...some dogs that normally wouldn't do stuff like that, can and will under certain circumstances...but that's not what the driver would be thinking), and they were probably pretty shaken up, may near have lost conrtol themselves.
2 - If they DO hang around, even if only to help...are they likely to get sued? These days you just don't know...

That said, sounds like a horrific, fucked up way to lose a pet...losing an animal friend in any way is hard, knowing that their last moments were more than likely of panic, pain, terror, and confusion, that's even worse. At least you were there for them.
Sorry.

I'm guessing/hoping it was a smiley dedicated to Boo-Boo, cuz she loved Boo-Boo. If she's toying with our emotions, she will die a slow painful death as in all horror movies. :) :) :)
