Doug Jones Rules

Seriously, the guy should have a star on the "Walk of Fame" already. You may not know his face, but you've seen him.

For those of you who don't know who the guy is, Doug Jones is a 6'4" 145 lb wonder of physical acting. Due to his lithe, dancer's body, Doug has been recruited by many a filmmaker to give life to heavy prosthetic make-ups.

He has been in some truly dreadful work: Tank Girl, Warriors of Virtue, Monkeybone, Mystery Men...he even played Mac Tonight - the crescent moon-faced pitchman for McDonalds.

But he really shines as Abe Sapien (Hellboy) both The Faun & The Pale Man (Pan's Labyrinth) and The Silver Surfer (Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer)

An amazing physical talent, Doug deserves more attention than he receives.

I met him at the Pan's Labyrinth screening at the ArcLight in Hollywood. He's really cool.

thats badass. evidentally he must of been at my college once because on the college radio he did a commerical. it went something like this and it ran around the time doom was coming out. "hi this is doug jones. star of hellboy and the upcoming doom. you are listening to KSDJ."

Hey, my favorite character in Hellboy.....:D I didn't even realize the actor that played Abe Sapien was the same actor that played the faun and the pale man in Pan's Labyrinth. I have much respect for the man then. And the pale man is creepy as hell.....;)

Oh, yes. I built a mummy suit for him when he was in a TV show called "Bone Chillers," he has so much talent for doing these rubber/suit/creature roles. Very friendly too!

Crabby is a cool dude. We have enough talent on this site to put our own movie together. Rod could write the screenplay....Crab does the special effects.....of course I would have to be the LEAD actor......and I demand at least one love scene......with my co-star.....um.......either

Doug is one of those underrated performers who has earned a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. With all the stuff under his belt, he has done some nicely impressive work.

btw newb...why would those girls wanna kiss a 80 yr old, let alone give a love scene?

If they were signed up, first thing they d do is scratch you off the movie, and get someone MUCH younger...say for example...Dante or Posher.;)

Of course, if you are the producer also, THEN maybe it's possible...

:D
