ipod HELP!!

Ok - this is why monkey's don't work on technology. . .

long story short, my office computer had all my itunes (which was basically all my cds loaded up) - last week super I.T. Geeks came to add some software and wiped my whole computer (including all my ipod stuff).

Since I have all my music on the ipod itself, my question is 'how can I load the music FROM my ipod TO my computer.' I asked the elder geek in our IT unit and he said 'oh, you can't do that without some third party software - but you don't want to use that' - implication being 'sit your ass down and reload all of it.'

HELP!!

I would try downloading the latest version of itunes. My Nano syncs with the new version automatically.

Maybe that could do it.
