"Battlestar Galactica" stalwart Michael Rymer will direct and co-produce "Witchblade," a feature film adaptation of the Top Cow comic.

The fantasy, which was recently set up for movie treatment, involves a jewel-encrusted gauntlet that bestows extraordinary powers upon the possessor, one chosen female from each generation.

Rymer, who has directed 20 episodes of the revived series and produced 40, is filming the "Battlestar Galactica" series finale. The Australian filmmaker recently wrapped production on "Revolution," a two-hour series pilot for NBC Universal Media Studios and the Sci Fi Channel.

"Witchblade" is a co-production of Platinum Studios, Top Cow Prods. and Arclight Films.

Rymer becomes producer along with Arclight's Gary Hamilton and Nigel Odell, Platinum Studios' Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and Steve Squillante of Havenwood Media.

Top Cow's Marc Silvestri and Matt Hawkins will be exec producers with Platinum Studios' Rich Marincic and Greenberg Group's Randy Greenberg.

"Witchblade" has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide since its 1995 debut, and it hatched a series that ran for two seasons on TNT, as well as an anime TV show in Japan from Gonzo Digimation.

She makes you wet.

And Rymer has been having talks with both Kiera Knightley and Rachel McAdams.

...now I think I'm getting wet too.

i never figured out what the hell that arm thing is.

It's a jewel encrusted mystical gauntlet.

But, the comic book character has the shapely figure of a goddess, and those two are built like sticks.

Women have breasts, people.

Word......

Both of those chicks are beautiful but they don't have the look.

I know she can't act but Adrianna Lima would be perfect.
