Looking for some good ol' classic B-movie,
any suggestions?

Curse Of The Demon

Carnival Of Souls

Not sure if those would be classified as B movies, but they are very good.

Man they could not hang
Boogeyman will get you
Earth dies screaming
Curse of the Demon (as mentioned in the aboved post)
The Giant Claw (excellent cheese b-movie)

Also anything by AIP pictures is pretty solid (they were b-movies then maybe not by todays standards)

Also i recomend pickling diffrent actors from the time and going with whatever you find with them in it.

My suggestion? Shell out $15 or so and pick up this set:

If you're looking for a cash course in B-grade horror flicks, this is ideal. Sure, there's a lot of crap...but if you're looking for classic horror/suspense from the 40's through late 50's (plus a few earlier/later flicks), this is the perfect place.

Some of the highlights:

- The Amazing Mr. X
- The Killer Shrews
- The Brain that Wouldn't Die
- Nightmare Castle
- The Screaming Skull
- Tormented
- Creature from the Haunted Sea
- Little Shop of Horrors
- Dead Men Walk
- The Indestructible Man

It's got it's share of honest-to-God classics, too: Last Man on Earth, Night of the Living Dead, Nosferatu, Metropolis...but the majority are just sweet, sweet old school cheese. HIGHLY recommended.

No question about it. LOVE that movie.

I'm doing one of these every week until Halloween. HDC mainstays obviously will know these movies, but newer members might be able to benefit.
