This summer's Superhero movies

I'm listening to Opie and Anthony, and Opie just said that Iron Man was a better movie than The Dark Knight... And I dont knowhow to feel about that. I'm pretty sure I disagree, but between the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and The Dark Knight, choosing the "best" one seems like it will come down more to opinion than any real quantative objective merits. (although TDK , to me is the best all-around movie; the others were great, but TDK has the most Oscar-worthy performances).

So, do we want to argue which one of the 3 was the best, or do we say that doing so would be splitting hairs, and since they are all in the 97-100 range on a scale of 1-100 that there is no point in arguing, and just love that 3 such monumentally awesome movies came out in one summer?

I think as a race we are to opinionated to live in such a happy utopia, but a man can dream. (those damn porcupines will probably show up and say something offensive...)

In MY opinion lol Iron Man was engaging and enjoyable 100% of the time and the most satisfying of the three.

Dark Knight was amazing and the performances (Leger, Oldman, Bale and Cain) were mind-blowing

The Hulk was good only in that it was better than the Ang Lee mess. I thought it was mediocre. So 1 2 3.

Absolutely loved all three of them, but Dark Knight is in a league of it's own.

All three are among the best superhero movies out there, but Iron Man and Incredible Hulk can't even hold a candle to TDK.

Dark Knight was the best hands down as far as i'm concerned.
as stated before, it transcends the Super Hero genre and is more a crime thriller. more complex - with a grand scope of interesting characters .. NOT just the amazing Joker.

Iron Man was next - but mainly due to Downey's spot on portrayal of Stark. The rest of the movie - to me - was forgettable - not much happened - it was a character study - not an action film.

The Hulk - well, it's something that's never really grabbed me. I thought it was well made - but after leaving the breathtaking (in a horrible way) scenes of the brazilian locations, i cant remember a single thing that happened in that movie.

Dark knight was something i'll watch again and again.

It is The Dark Knight for me as well. There was so much that made that film such a beautiful movie and the other two like Iron Man and Hulk even though were fun and such they never really had scenes that stuck in my mind that I still think about right now.

I didn't watch the other ones, The Dark Knight was good but far from the masterpiece everyone here makes it out to be.
