i havent sold in a long time ..

i used to contact people via email for shipping addresses (so i could weigh the books for shipping costs)

but i think now when they pay - you get an email with the shipping info.

and yes - you need to do a bank transfer from your paypal account to the bank account you set up with it.

how long does it take - i cant remember .. i was never in a rush at the time ...

About three days.

can they rip me off by taking there money back or cancelling a payment? when should i mail the items?

I mail things when the Paypal is in the account. Once it's in your bank account, there's really nothing they can do to it. Most people wouldn't bother trying to rip someone off by falsifying a Paypal. It leads to more trouble than it's worth.
