Maniac (1980)
Although unknown to most Maniac is a "slasher" film that debuted in 1980 and is know to most who've seen it as the "Original Modern Day Slasher". This movie is actually a pretty descent movie for me to have only learned about it a few weeks ago. Any thought or comments?

What a nasty little flix. Some great gore FX and cameo from Tom Savini. I can't tell if Joe Spinell is a great actor or if he's truly insane. One of my favorite 80's slashers.

This movie has almost nothing in commen with any other modern day slasher movies.
