Aloha.

Hi folks,

New to the forum so thought I'd say hi. I'm 29, female, living in the UK and a long time horror fan. My first horror movie was the Terrance Fisher 1958 Dracula which I saw when I was ten and haven't looked back since.

I love the 60s and 70s Hammer vampire flicks and the Amicus portmanteau films, along with the gorier Italian zombie films of the 1980s. Not so keen on newer films like 'Hostel' and 'Wolf Creek', though I have to say I did quite enjoy 'Drag Me to Hell',.

Hoping to chat to some of you folks,

ZC

How come you haven't looked back. Are you scared dracula might be behind you or something?

Hey Zombie,

I'm on the same page as you more or less with films like Hostel. They do what they are meant to do and then it gets tiring in my opinion after 15 minutes. Nonetheless, welcome aboard.

Hi ZC- Cushing & Lee are great.Love those Hammer & Amicus films, as well as the Corman stuff.

There aren't as many new films that catch my interest, though to tell the truth I did like Wolf Creek.

Wow, a person who is not only British, but has great taste in horror. I get along very well with the British. I kind of liked Drag Me to Hell but I thought that for Sam Raimi to be back in old form, the movie would need to be as much fun as it is grueling. Wolf Creek I found slow and a bit tedious.

I didn't mean it that way. I mean that I consider British a positive trait.
