Freud and Jung
 

David Cronenberg (excuse spelling-its the wee hours!) is to direct a new film about the lives of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. Based on the Book 'Archaeologies of Consciousness ' by Gyrus. Ok its not horror, but I am sure that with the right treatment 'Interpretation of Dreams' and the 'Collective Subconscious' (slight mind block here!) could be the stuff of nightmares. Does anybody else have any information about this project?

Cheers. Just hope that it doesn't end up as a dry biopic as the material itself could be handled in a very wonderful and rich way; takes me back to my student days when we had Freud rammed down our throats. Even if I now believe it was a load of rubbish. Bring on the parental love and effects of sexual suppression yay:cool:

It would be cool if something were done about these two in a style sort of like 32 Short Films about Glenn Gould.

Got to hand to freud. He had sexual fantasies about his mum.Felt weird and ashamed about it. Didn't like it. So he set out, to convince the world that it was normal behaviour.

Yes- but then Errikson came along and perpetuated this. I love a man with a good ID lol xx
