I was first introduced to Hatchet at Horrorfind Weeekend in Baltimore. Lions Gate ran trailers all weekend. It finally broke me down and though skeptical, I watched it. I really liked it. It was campy but delivered everything it promised . . . gore, gore and wonderful terrible gore! I'll watch the new one. It will be over the top. I am a big fan of classic terror and suspense but sometimes, I just want to be entertained. This entertained me. I expect the sequel to do the same.
