What’s your take on horror?

Hey, I’m currently in the process of producing some horror themed media material and I would appreciate some constructive feedback from some fans of the horror genre.

Basically I’ve got 10 questions for you guys to answer if you will. Many thanks for your time :)

Here are the quick questions:

2. Please indicate your gender:

3. Out of the following, which sub-genre of horror movies most appeals to you?
Romance horror, Noir horror,Psychological horror, Soft horror, Supernatural horror, Drama horror, or Comedy horror:

4. Out of the following, what element of horror films scares you the most?
Violence, Ghosts, Scary looking creatures, Mysterious characters, or Strange sounds

5. Do you prefer to guess or know who the villain is in horror movies?

6. Which do you find scarier in horror films, scary music or sounds e.g. footsteps?

7.Which do you find most engaging: movie trailers with visuals and sound or just visuals?

8. Which of the following colours do you associate most with horror?
Red, Black, White, Green, Brown, or Blue

9. Do the cast members and film reviews/ratings of movies tend to influence your interest in films?

10. What’s the most memorable movie poster that you’ve ever seen? Can you briefly explain why it is so memorable?

Psychological horror, Supernatural horror, Comedy horror:

They don't scare me, sometimes make me jump

5. Do you prefer to guess or know who the villain is in horror movies?
Prefer to work it out for myself, unless its 'staring you in the face' obvious.

6. Which do you find scarier in horror films, scary music or sounds e.g. footsteps?
Good sound effects.

7.Which do you find most engaging: movie trailers with visuals and sound or just visuals?
Trailers with no sound are pap, must have both.

8. Which of the following colours do you associate most with horror?
Never realy thought about colour association.. at a guess Red for slasher films.

9. Do the cast members and film reviews/ratings of movies tend to influence your interest in films?
Cast will, but generally a good trailer does.

10. What’s the most memorable movie poster that you’ve ever seen? Can you briefly explain why it is so memorable?
An American Werewolf in London.
First saw this film when I was underaged, the film shit the life out of me, and the poster brings back those memories.
