Bryan Smith - Depraved

I have found Bryan Smith to write about the deepest darkest foul things about the human condition. "Depraved" is a perfect example. This book is like THE HILLS HAVE EYES, DELIVERANCE, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE in one book.

Since getting into Bryan Smith's books, I find that other books seem "lame" since I am now wanting gruesome horror that shocks and offends. I like books about pure evil, satanic and just crazy. Few books have this effect. When I read a book I want to be scared.

So this is my first post on this site and I wonder what all you guys think? Any suggestions? I am foaming at the mouth for new and wonderful horror books without the cheese.
