Yea... So i fell asleep durring the middle of the movie and need to have one thing explained to me about the ending.

How the heck coukd they dig up the wrong coffin??

It has been a while since I watched it, but I'll do the best I can... Earlier in the movie, Paul asked if they had ever rescued anyone in this situation, and Brenner said yes, Mark White. As time was running out, Paul was given hope when Brenner said they were given information on where an American man was buried alive (from a civilian, I think), but it turns out they had been directed to the grave of Mark White, who had not been saved as Brenner claimed. Very chilling.

I don't remember for sure, but think it was an issue with time and location, they just couldn't get it done fast enough.
