New Year's Resolutions 2018

Anyone?

I don't do resolutions because I always break them. However, I'm going to do my best to eat healthier and exercise more. I really would like to get my diabetes and blood pressure under control.

Like you, I don't keep them so I don't make them. I used to love reading books and I want to pick that up again. But maybe I won't....::confused::

This year my New Years' resolution is that I will make sure everyone sticks to their New Years' resolution. I'm pretty darn critical, am excellent at finding the faults of others... so I think I might actually be able to keep this one going all year long. Plus, it's really thinking of others first, so it should be pretty well received. What do you all think?

Total soda ban.
More physical activity, more dog walks.
Ride a hire bike at least one time.

So like, have you started on hormone therapy yet, or?

I take it you currently drink the high-fructose sodas? I was a huge Coke fan, but I gave up on soda drinking 9 years ago. So happy I did. I just drink filtered room-temperature water from the faucet. Helped lose fat, better stomach function. Some folks are keeping bad microbes alive with constant 'sugar water'. And I actually found out recently, whenever I consume something with high-fructose I get flem in my upper respiratory.

As you might expect, you get used to the taste of pure water pretty quick, and eventually even a treat soda will taste strange to you, like a warm or flat cola.

Never took to soda. And I even tried to start drinking it this Christmas because everyone's ice-filled glasses looked so tempting. I'm like a little kid with the carbonation factor. It's awkward to drink and swallow. I like iced tea as a cold drink.
