basically what i got out of the ending is just an attack on technology... that what was supposed to help humanity, basically is the destruction of humanity. Technology destroyed everything, and had taken over humanity, now run by the Grey's. But, human life still continued and the survivors lived in the "dark"... no technology, and all was great and fine once again.
