The Invitation
Surprisingly good. A bit predictable, but it does not ruin the film. Most of the acting was decent, it was mostly low key so there wasn't call for strong performances. Tammy Blanchard was the best out of all of them. The pace was good too. Lots of conversation which might turn people off, but it worked in this film. Sometimes it was the entire group talking and sometimes separate conversations. The film moved around a lot from each conversation so they didn't seem to drag on. I guess half of the very end, but not the other half which was great. Though Logan Marshall-Green really needed to trim his beard. It was too distracting, lessening the impact of his reactions. As always, purposely vague so as not to ruin the film.
6.5/10
Oh and also I think its a good movie to watch by yourself in the dark. Not to scare yourself, but to immerse yourself in the watching.
