The Conjuring 2
Well made, some decent tension, a few good jump scares, but ultimately I found it had nothing new to add to the worn-out poltergeist-in-a-house genre. In fact, I didn't understand some crucial motivations. If you can enlighten me, check out

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi
Good tension build-up and good action, but the dialogue was often heavy handed American hero worship which detracted from the realism of the action.

Warcraft
A visual spectacle. Set-pieces, CGI and costume were all excellent. Managed to avoid being convoluted, but the editing, especially during the action pieces at the end, needed more clarity. Kudos for the attempts at levity from the characters, but unfortunately the script didn't pull it off. I enjoyed it overall and am hoping for sequels.

London Has Fallen
Does the action pieces well. Butler's dodgy American accent is distracting, and a lot of the performances, even from Morgan Freeman, feel like they used the first take. Once Butler's character hits his stride and you realise he's a complete psychopath, it becomes enjoyable. Enjoyable but completely forgettable midnight movie, for when you want to turn your brain off.
