The 7 defending a village against ISIS would be a nifty idea, accept people might get uncomfortable if there was any comic relief. You could go with 7 defending against a remote unnamed warlord group in Africa or Asia.
A western treatment of Most Dangerous Game would be interesting, if not kinda weird.

Like a demented Grizzy Adams type of character.
