That's what they were using to sell the game.

Time and again, I've been let down.
In fact, the only ones I actually LIKED were the 16-bit versions of Terminator & Terminator 2...and even those had their shortcomings.

So T:R, good sound, the T-800s look true to form, as to the large flying ships.
The "other" robots they've introduced are a mixed bag, not bad.
The music is decent, though nothing really new. (Still think the best Terminator related music was the cool synth score in T1)
The combat is pretty standard FPS fare.

Visually...aside from the facial animations which aren't great and some pretty simple vehicle models, it gets the feeling of the "post judgement day" wrecked world. Everything is largely settled, but it's empty and smashed up.

I'd say it FEELS like you're in the future Terminator world, which I like.
Storyline is not bad, new characters, No "Connor" stuff for once.

Thus far I'd give it a 7/10
Steam has it on sale at the moment. It's not horrible.
I'm looking forward to playing this one. The storyline is supposed to be the best considering all the movies after T2.

On the other Terminator games, I only remember the Sega CD game which I thought was good at the time. And the T2 arcade game which was fun for an arcade shooter.
