Technically, 1917 is fantastic, such amazing camera work and really only one cut that is more like a fade. The story was good, but Schofield should have been seriously hurt when the Trench cave-in occurs. It's quite convenient that after he falls into the water, He floats right where his mission is supposed to be and not even getting nicked when He goes "Over The Top" to deliver the message. Minor quibbles, but the film's power is somewhat diluted. Still very much worth seeing.
