I thought the first of the first one was excellent. Then it starts going downhill a little. (They shouldn't have tried to fit that stupid song into the story.) The end was a unexpectedly pleasent surprise though.
The second one wasn't very good at all, in my opinion. It was much more of a standard horror film than the first one. A bunch of teens get stuck in the middle of nowhere, killed one by one. :rolleyes: It's been done a thousand times.
I hate when movies feel like they need to follow a formula. Why is it so damn hard to be original? They had it figured out in the first movei, but completely forgot about creativity in the second one.
