True, most men can be assholes. The way I see it is that he should have never even tried a move on you if he didn't have the same feelings that he knew you had for him. Maybe he does feel the same way though. But just doesn't want to admit it because he came feel for you so closely by being your brothers best friend that he feels as though you are his sister as well. Perhaps it just felt strange to him because all the feelings he had for you were coming out, but he didn't know how to control them. How he should've felt. The feeling of relationship meeting the feeling of love as a brother would give a sister. But I could be wrong, but I hope that that cheered you up in some way.
