I want neither. I hate support. I have developed the attitude that they are all morons, so i would trather build mrorn-proof software than support it.
Get this, i designed forms for whatever you may need, server access, new software, a new computer, you name it. Since we use a microsoft domain in our company, it was a small thing to design forms that fill themselves out.
If there was a form that required the person's name, extension, manager, email and cost-center, i made a form that would do that for you. i even made it ieasy for them to change who the form was for, in case someone had to use someone else's computer.
All it required was for you to go to the page, and click submit.
I recieved complaints from people who couldnt figure out how to use it! It says "HIT SUBMIT" for christs sake!! There is no such thing as idiot proof....
Thje funny thing is, basic web design is pretty easy, its just formatting.anyone should be able to grasp many of the basics, buthey, some people just arent savvy in that way. No biggie. What i hate are people that know nothing, but ask for the world, and then ride your ass about it because they cant grasp that you cant just tell the computer what you want and it'll fabricate it for you
