True love can be, like Bloodrayne said, a castle fortress built strong that will stand the test of time, no matter the weather or the seige. It is also a fragile house of cards with the slightest of breezes it could all fall apart.
It is something we all want and dont, we all need and dont, it can cause the utmost in pleasure and the deepest darkest pain that one can feel. It is taken for granted and not taken at all. It is so many things positive and so may things negative. It is like the smallest of atoms, negative balanced with positive with neutral thrown in there for good measure.
Sometimes I feel like I could do without it and would be better off, and then I feel had I not had the exprience I would not be the person who I am today.
I dont think anyone will ever know what true love is until we long pass from this plain of existance into the next. It is too much for the human mind to comprehend or understand.
