I've seen/heard about SO many incidents of moose through windshield, that I'm inclined to think they must be quite stupid...we don't have them here...are they?
Here, the most frequently roadkilled animals are the kangaroo, and wombat. The kangaroo out of stupidity, the wombat out of slow landspeed.
Wombats are cute, it's a shame...as for the kangaroos, they're stupid annoying creatures that are better off eaten anyway - if you can get some over your way, try it.
