Yeah, Newb--those are the little suckers. Yours look a little different from the ones I see (mine look more like brown squirrels, but kinda humanoid). But there are supposedly regional variants.
Tree Monkeys are so named because they generally are only seen in trees. If you see one on the ground, it's usually because it's been knocked out of the tree by someone. Once it's on the ground it's sort of traumatized, and wanders about in a disoriented state.
