I loved eraserhead, it was a film that even though I had no fucking idea what the hell was going on half the time...I quite liked. The semi-disturbing/just plain strange imagery and scenes sure keeps you watching...I wouldn't call it horror either, but, no doubt seeing some of these images might be a little disturbing to some.

As for The Lost Highway, it hmmm....kinda let me down. It was just plain weird, but perhaps the attempted incorporation of some kind of cohesive storyline into all the "weird" was what fucked it for me...who knows?? I have to admit, I DID enjoy and laugh at one scene:
"Call your house, I'm there now"
"That's fucking crazy, man..."

I still wanna check out Mulholland Drive, I've heard like NOTHING but good things about it...yet, don't really have a clue what it's about as yet.

I didn't know the Eraserhead dvd was out there ANYWHERE...am I to believe that the only one out there IS worth $40? (Which is like $70 AUD to me), Even so...I would probably grudgingly pay the price...
Sam, how much is it on the site you mentioned, the same?

Just a personal suggestion for those that have yet to see the film I'm about to mention....if you wanted a KIND OF similar film, that leans more towards horror, with "fucked up" by the bucketload, grab the Japanese (I think) film called Tetsuo: Iron Man
Craaaaazy shit.
