i remember seeing Evil Dead the first time .. it blew me right out of the water ..
made me go 'woahh' and laugh at the insane amounts of gore.
there has been a lot of grosser movies since, but The Evil Dead set a standard in insanity ..
If you didnt see Evil Dead until after the others out since, you might not appreciate it as much - i guess.
still, i can see the 2nd and 3rd being too goofy for some people .. but the first one is still a shit load of fun.
