You should rent "24 hr Party People" first then see if you like it enough to purchase. I dug it but the last half is all about the super-weak psychedelic Manchester dance scene of the early 90s and one of my all-time most hated bands the Happy Mondays.
The first part about Joy Division is cool though.
Even has the "one scene" with Ian Curtis...or should I say the "last scene."
Also, there's a cameo by an original Buzzcock which is fucking hilarious!
Today its The Living End. I love those Aussies.
btw...Echo and the Bunnymen rule!!! "Killing Moon" is the greatest song ever!
