since they never actually showed her dying in Resurrection if they come up with something believable then it's completely possible for the storyline to make sense.
I think it'd be cool if they got Curtis and Harris to do it, of course it wouldn't be all that great(although you never know) but Freddy vs. Jason was a fun movie to watch so I'd go see this and probably enjoy doing so.
