The Thing: Probably the best remake of any Genre that I can think of.
Phantom of the Opera: The original with Lon Chaney Sr. is and always will be the best, however, I did like Herbert Loms version of it very much.
Dracula: Bela's a classic, but Christopher Lee runs circles around all others.
Ther are others, but I'm on a tight schedule.
