I love it when noobs dont say anything annoying or stupid. And you didn't. So I'll actually give you a nice, wholehearted welcome.

That's really good that you appreciate the classics, it's something that not everyone can. Check out Nosferatu (1922) or House on Haunted Hill (1959). They're both great classics.

Also, obviously I'll recommend the Romero series for zombie flicks, assuming you haven't seen them. But you probably have. But in case you haven't it goes like this:

Night of the Living Dead (1968)- Probably the second best in the series, and this can definately considered a classic. Black and white doesn't stop Romero from scaring you out of your mind.

Dawn of the Dead (1978)- My personal favorite of the series, but many will disagree with me, as they have before. A lot of gore, a lot of fun scenes. Just a really fun movie.

Day of the Dead (1985)- Definately the goriest and definately the darkest, but very, very good. Creates a new kind of fear/feeling with a new plot and setting.

Land of the Dead (2005)- By far my least favorite, Land of the Dead was kind of a dissapointment, at least to me. But a lot of people loved it, so don't just take it from me. Some effective moments, but overall a really big letdown.

Anyway welcome, hope you enjoy it here.

(This is the longest post I've ever written to a noob. Congratulations.)
