Since the thread topic was asking what humankind as a whole should acheive ?75? years from now, I'll try and go with that.

Cancer and other diseases that literally eat you alive....they should all be gone. As a matter of fact, a lot of promising research has been done just recently, news of cures for prostate, bowel and cervical cancer being right around the corner is great, not to mention the ongoing advancements in treatment and cure of heart disease. Based on some of the things I've read over the last few years, I think that we're presently only a few years away from some very major medical breakthroughs, and it's gathering steam as we speak.
So yeah...might not take all of 75 years, but it's a nice outcome to think about.

This may only be a distant dream, but I'd also like to see more environmentally friendly production methods, vehicles and appliances, fuel sources...etc become mandatory. The world has this great ability to cure itself, in many ways - yet all we've done is find many ways to slow, or in fact, stop that process.
When humanity "grows up" and stops worrying about the petty, greedy shit that defines most modern day society, and starts focussing on the world, that which sustains our very lives, and starts making a few laws that are actually worth shit, that will be a good day. Sure, there's a lot of environmentally friendly practices going on everywhere in the world today, but it's not nearly enough.

Yeah...that and the medical thing...the two most major.

Of course, the kind of technology that could allow people to fly without the aid of bulky machinery, food or water to be created without waste of natural resources, some DAMN good videogames, better overall health awareness (also mandatory for schools to comply), and space travel becoming commonplace...all of those would be nice too...
