While I agree that The Thing is wonderful i have to nitpick at the comment about the Howling. It is a definate classic to me, and a darn good film. I'll probably never watch it again, but it was still good. Not to be a total ass about it or anything... but yeah, i really think it is in that classic catagory.
But yeah. The Thing tops it.
