Horror-ific!
My name is Cyndiana. I am a 24 year old female from Canton, Texas, USA. I eat, sleep, and breathe horror films. I'm somewhat new to it all, yet because for so long, I was far too afraid to watch horror films. As a child, I couldn't even watch Michael Jackson's "Thriller" without having nightmares! *LOL* But, I've been spending the better part of my adulthood making up for lost time.
I am an amateur writer, and I write short stories, songs, and poems on occasion, but I am right now in the middle of writing three screenplays with my writing partner.
My other interests, outside of horror, are music (my favorite music ranges from Rammstein to Leningrad to Turmion Katilot to even soft rock and some...SOME...rap. I'm very musically eclectic.) and forensic science. I love shows like, or course, all the CSI's, and all the true crime shows on A&E. I am fascinated by serial killers, and have been since as far back as I can remember.
Of the few horror movies I've seen as of this post (which is few compared to many of you, I'm sure, but I'm hoping, as I said earlier, to make up for lost time.) my favorites are "House of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects", "High Tension", "Saw 1" (I was a tad disappointed by "Saw 2".), the Puppet Master series (I know, I know, they're corny, and the acting is sub-sub-sub par, but I love those puppets!) and anything with Doug Bradley, Bill Moseley, or, of course, Bruce Campbell.
I love a good gory horror film, and I love "real" (note: the quotation marks) gore flicks such as the "Faces of Death" series, but I also love really ridiculously schlocky ones such as "Skinned Alive" and "Pieces". Basically, it is really hard for me not to find something to like in a horror movie.
