Nasty, gratitious and exploitative. I loved it. A fine example of 70s US cinema. As I've said before theres some great gritty flicks from this period. "Neo-trash-realism" as I like to call it. This stuff pushed boundaries and unsettled a large amount of the movie watching public.
Last House On The Left is better in my opinion but I Spit On Your Grave is still an important part of the genre. Its good to see both being released uncut everywhere for the first time in ages. I remember when you had to rely on bootlegs for a decent cut of the film.
