The hype was a direct result of the marketing for Blair Witch......which was genius.The two fold ads in Rolling Stone,the t.v. spots and the make believe timelines all paid off tenfold.
The Blair Witch was and is a low budget film with the marketing juggernaut behind it....and it entertained.
