How about some "politically Correct Horror"? Okay, it doesnt have to be ENTIRELY horror, but mostly. Some examples:
Hannibal Lecter is not a manipulative cannibal, he is a Same Species ingester with extreme influencing abilities.
And they arent "Zombies" they are Mobile Expired Persons
