Skinned Deep

Another low budget movie...but heck I actually really enjoyed this. Ya gotta love the dwarf dude from Willow throwing enough plates at his victims!! This kinda reminded me of a low-er budget TCM with comedy, so a pleasant surprise for me this one...

Hills Have Eyes (Remake)

This down 'n' dirty movie is by far the best remake I have seen. I won't go as far as saying I prefer it to the original but I like this as much. Really creepy, some great gore and a pretty bad rape scene are just the tip of the iceberg in this baby! Definetley one of the best movies I have seen in the last couple of months.

The Changeling

I thought this quirky little ghost story was excellent. George C Scott yet again is superb - I loved him in the Exorcist III and he was just as good in this little shost story. A very atmospheric film ( reminiscent in some ways in it's atmospher to the creepy Rosemary's baby) which with no gore relies on atmosphere and tension to keep the viewer hooked. Well worth a look.

Wonderland

Val Kilmer stars in this action/gangster/shoot em up romp. Playing the part of a wild ex porn star and loosely based on fact I really enjoyed this movie. Not a bad bargain bin purchase and definetley worth taking a look

Dead Mans Shoes

This cult revenge masterpiece I found thoroughly enjoyable. Filmed in the next county from me (Yorkshire) and I'm based in Manchester it contained lots northern humour and mixed this up with some classic tense moments. I loved the scene where the group is having a smoking session and as one leaves the building sees ' the elephant man' - absolutely hilarious. Grab this classic if you can.
