You and me both.
We went to bed early last night, because i had to be into work early today. In an attempt to set things up in a way that would keep me from waking bree early, we set my cell phone alarm, and to vibrate, for 5 this morning.
Well, there is this interesting issue with cell phones and speakers...
Take your cell phone, turn on your pc speakers and set the phone next to them. Every so often, you will hear a strange noise that sounds like morse code as the phone communicates with the network.
Now, my phone was under my pillow, and about 2 feet away was the baby monitor, basically a speaker. this fucking noise went off every 30 minutes, until at about 1:30, we said screw it and got thephone the hell out of the room. We got back in bed for about 15 minutes, and the baby woke up. We got her back to sleep and stayed up bullshitting, since we couldnt ffall back to sleep. at about 3:30, we finally tried again. Okay, so i coaxed bree into a little bit of, um, quality time... So we went to bed more at 4...
Then the alarm went off at 5, i had to get up, take out a shitload of trash, then go to work. I've been here (90 minutes away from home) since 6:30. I usually get here at 8:30.
At least i get to leave at 3 :D
