Wow, that is freaky. So were you just referring to his arrangements? Or are there actual recordings of him from the 18th century? It seems like there wouldn't be any recording instruments in the 1700s, but maybe they did.
I haven't played a "public performance" since I was 18. I've thought about starting a band once I'm out of law school, but I've never been fond of others' attention and the stage; plus, I'm not fond of traveling/touring and will have a large amount of student loans I have to pay off, sigh. :(
I may start a management firm for other bands/musicians, though. If I can't take the kitchen for the true action, I'll get in the backdoor and maintain my privacy. :D
