I am amazed at the number of things, usually put together by fundamentalist religious groups, that celebrate the "freedom" to limit other people's freedoms.
"We have to be free from worry!"
Then get a lobotomy and live in a padded room. The world is harsh, and hard. better the kids learn it through books than to be coddled their whole life then get set free into the world with no net. sheltered people like this sometimes end up okay, especially if they stay whithin their little inbred societies.
but if they dont, they get taken advantage of, never think for themselves, or turn into perverts because they were denied stimulation for so long.
