I was referring to musicians...etc...who in fact DO promote things on their myspace accounts. People who wish to know when they're performing can check times, sessions, ticket sales...etc, I think this is a good idea, for THEM.
Yes, if I were planning an event, and I was somebody that actually used myspace, I'd refer those I cared to invite/inform through a link.
