This tournament has stretched for 3 whole months and its been a long and winding journey for plenty of the qualifiers from the Golden Era of Horror movies, the 1980s. There were plenty of surprise winners and losers, and plenty of comebacks to note. Some of them surprised with their popularity, while some others surprised with their losses.

As good as the Finalists may seem, dont forget the two overwhelming favorites who lost out in the Semis:-

Day of the Dead was the third extension of the creative brilliance shown by Romero's genius and Savini's artistry.

Carpenter's The Thing redefined the definition of the word "scary" as it broke all popularity records with the cine-going audience back then, as it still does now...

Finally, it all comes down to this moment. When two mighty titans of 1980s horror will fight it out to be crowned as the single defining milestone of the genre, which stamps its authority over an entire decade when horror was at its most popular peak.
