I agree with you, but Im trying to reserve judgement.
Waiting until I see 300 to really make a decision about the director (Zack Snyder is set to direct Watchmen, incase you didnt know yet). His version of Dawn of the Dead was pretty solid...nothing spectacular, but solid. Based on that alone I dont think he's a very good choice, but 300 looks incredible...I guess we'll see.
Hopefully they make it in installments...a trilogy perhaps. That way they could fit
most of it in. One movie? Impossible. Soooo much important stuff will need to be cut.
But like I say: Im trying to reserve judgement at least until more details are confirmed (IE: cast, screenwriter, ect.). Hollywood has surprised us in the past, maybe they can pull off a decent Watchmen movie. Here's hoping.
