It's called 'job security'...Attorneys can't sue anyone, if they can't find SOMEONE to blame...The game industry has lots of money...

And, of course, the psychos' PARENTS like it, because it takes THEM off the hook for any responsibility, too...Plus, they probably think (hope) that they can make some money off of it this way, too

I especially love the ones where the parents blame the video games that they themselves have bought for the kids, even though the label says that they are inappropriate for children...The parents just brush THAT fact aside, because it makes it a little more difficult for them to deny any responsibility that way
