It is not comercially available.
However, there is a site called Forgotten Films that transfers digitally films from 16mm originals when available.
The copy I had on VHS was from a firm called Hollywood Attic and it was not very good.
I would have to give the FF one an 8.5 on picture quality.
It has two of my favorite stars in it: Jeff Morrow & Mara Corday. Corday was quite a looker! She didn't play in enough films. After she married Richard Long her career vanished.
It is my understanding that when Jeff Morrow went to see the film at his local theatre with his family, he snuck out part way through the film with his coat covering his face! This is a fact!
He was great in This Island Earth, probably his best role on film.
