New images for Lindsay Lohan's "I Know Who Killed Me"

Yesterday Columbia Pictures released a batch of new stills from Chris Sivertson's I Know Who Killed Me, which hits theaters on July 27.

In the film an idyllic small town is rocked when Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a bright and promising young woman, is abducted and tortured by a sadistic serial killer. When she manages to escape, the traumatized girl who regains consciousness in the hospital insists that she is not who they think she is and that the real Aubrey Fleming is still in mortal danger.

"Reeker" coming to DVD in September

You can finally check out Dave Payne's Reeker on Showtime with a DVD release slated for September 25 from Paramount, nearly a year after it was originaly planned for release.

No word yet on extras.

In the film uoung strangers trapped at an eerie travel oasis in the desert must unravel the mystery behind their visions of dying people while they are preyed upon by a decaying creature.

Despite the decent gore quotient (there are missing body parts aplenty by the end) and plot twists, there’s also a good deal of well-placed and genuinely funny comedy – which is almost unheard of in a genre bursting with cheap lowbrow humor and ill-executed gags.

First Official Poster revealed for James Wan's "Death Sentence"

Yesterday the first official poster was released from director James Wan's (Saw, Dead Silence) latest effort, Death Sentence, starring Kevin Bacon, which hits theaters on August 31.

The story centers on a father out for revenge after his family is attacked in a senseless and heinous gang-initiation crime. The father enacts a death sentence on each perpetrator involved with the crime.

You can view the poster here.

Behind The Mask director's new foray

Paramount Vantage has pre-emptively picked up Playing House, a horror project that Scott Glosserman (Behind the Mask) will direct and co-write with Macy Raymond, who penned the original short story that the film will be based on.

Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson's Contrafilm are producing along with Glosserman.

The plot revolves around a down-on-their-luck young couple who are preyed upon when they inhabit a seemingly deserted island mansion.

Glosserman most recently co-wrote and directed the horror comedy "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon," which had its premiere at last year's South by Southwest Film Festival. Anchor Bay recently released the movie theatrically.

William Friedkin's "Bug" coming on DVD September 25

You missed it and you should regret it, although it's NOT a horror movie. William Friedkin's Bug carries some of the most powerful performances of the year, and has drawn comparisons to David Cronenberg's and Roman Polanski's works.

Today details on the DVD release were declared, which slated it for a September 25 release from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

The DVD will carry an audio commentary by Friedkin along with two featurettes: "BUG: An Introduction" and "A Discussion with William Friedkin".

You can pre-order your copies from here.
