He seems so intent on creating a "character" out of The Bogeyman, not realizing that what made the original work was the attention payed to the protagonists. They were real girls and The Shape intruded upon their reality.
The Bogeyman is scary because we don't know much about him.
Now we'll get an over-developed Micheal and underdeveloped heroines- because all Zombie cares about are his bad-guys - and we'll have no one to root for.
I'll still be there, but this is sounding worse with every bit of news. I'm still sure it'll be better than #s 5-8 of the franchise.
